Central Park Gates New York City

The Gates by Christo covered 23 miles of paths in New York City’s Central Park and drew 4 million visitors, nearly four times the number of people who typically visit the park at that time of year. The installation cost $20 million and generated an estimated $254 million in economic activity, according to the City of New York.
