Anahuak, MRCA, and The City Project celebrate Echo Park holiday parade

Posted: December 10th, 2012

The City Project celebrates the annual holiday parade in Echo Park with Anahuak Youth Sports Association and MRCA (Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority). Children from Anahuak and the MRCA Junior Ranger Program were joined by parents and coaches (and The City Project’s Robert García) for the celebration on Sunday, December 9, 2012.

The MRCA Junior Ranger Program provides children with the opportunities to learn about environmental science, outdoor skills, experiential learning and leadership activities, as well as participation in camping trips and community service in parks and beaches. The City Project and Anahuak work together to ensure equal access to parks and other public resources including Rio de Los Angeles State Park Los Angeles State Historic Park, Vista Hermosa Nature Park, San Gabriel Mountains, and Transit to Trails.
