Catholic Social Teaching and Environmental Justice
What does Catholic Social Teaching say about the environment? What should the Catholic Church be doing to improve local communities and the environment? Attend this Environmental Justice Symposium sponsored by the Social Justice Committee of the San Fernando Regional Pastoral Council, the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Office of Justice and Peace, and the Justice and Peace Commission to learn about the latest successes in the environmental justice movement in the Los Angeles region.
The Center will join TreePeople and ONE LA as guest panelists to discuss how communities of color and low-income communities are impacted by and can impact the environment that surrounds them.
