Attend the California Urban Forest Conference Sep. 7th- 9th

Posted: August 17th, 2006

The 2006 California Urban Forest Conference is being held at the Hilton Pasadena from September 7-9, 2006. Registration information is now available online.

The theme is “Urban Forest Advocacy - Growing Possibilities,” and California Urban Forests Council, along with their partners, California ReLeaf and the national Alliance for Community Trees, has created a program that addresses advocacy, policy, and planning from the local level to the national level. The Urban Forest Conference will provide the opportunity for people who work within the urban and community forestry realm, such as municipal staff, planners, designers, staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations, arborists, and others interested in the future of urban forests in California and across the nation, to come together for 3 days of networking, workshops, and fun! With a focus on advocacy and community planning, everyone should leave the conference strengthened and prepared to effect positive change at home.
