Support Healthy, Livable Communities for All

Dear Friends,
As the year comes to a close, I want to share our accomplishments and ask you to support The City Project’s vision and work with a tax-deductible year-end donation.
In the past six years, The City Project has spearheaded efforts to create great new urban parks; to establish schools as centers of their communities; and to influence the investment of billions of dollars for public works projects in underserved communities.
Our victories include:
-The Los Angeles State Historic Park at the Cornfield
-El RÃo de Los Angeles State Park at Taylor Yard
-The two square mile Baldwin Hills Park in the historic African American heart of L.A.
-Ascot Hills Park in East L.A.
Your donation will help further the vision of The City Project to make Los Angeles a more healthy, livable and just city.
You can:
-Help green the Los Angeles and San Gabriel Rivers
-Promote shared places and policies for physical activity in schools and parks to improve health
-Help influence billions of dollars from resource bonds passed in November 2006—for parks, schools, housing, transit, clean water, and local jobs
-Help extend and restore the Great Wall of Los Angeles
-Build an urban environmental movement that puts children and families first, and serves the needs of Latinos and diverse communities in ways no one else has
Please help us continue this remarkable work by making your tax-deductible contribution to The City Project today.
I thank you and look forward to hearing from you.
Wishing you Happy, Healthy Holidays,
Robert GarcÃa
Executive Director
