YouTube Malibu Conservancy Plan for Public Access to Public Lands

Joseph T. Edmiston, Executive Director of the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy, defends the Conservancy’s plan to increase public access to public parks in Malibu. The Malibu City Council at a public hearing filled with vitriolic comments and heckling by Malibu residents voted unanimously to prohibit all overnight camping in Malibu parks, and cut off access to Ramirez Canyon Park.
