Daphne Hsu, a Staff Attorney at The City Project, reconnects with Chips Quinn Scholars for Diversity in Journalism Program Director, Karen Catone. An alum of CQS, Daphne participated in 2012 Election Protection in Richmond, Virginia. Before coming to The City Project, Daphne served as a law clerk to Judge Morgan Christen of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in Alaska and practiced litigation as an associate at Los Angeles law firms. She holds a J.D. from University of Chicago Law School and a B.S. from Yale University. She worked as a reporter for the Oakland Tribune after college and the Yale Daily News.
